I'm headed to NYC for a week and want to stop and see a fire museum while I'm in town. I'm also looking to bring home some FDNY company tee shirts. Anybody know the location of the FDNY Fire Museum in NYC? I think it's on the southern end of Manhattan. Can somebody give me a lead on buying some FDNY company tee shirts? Is there anything else of FD related things to see? I will make a stop at the WTC site too.
THANKS FIREHOUSE!

The fire museum is on Spring Street, Hudson to Varick St in Soho

The WTC tribute center is the place to go if you want to go to the Trade Center. Leave the guys at 10 and 10 alone go around to the side of the firehouse and see the memorial wall but steer clear of the firehouse itself, there are a couple of hundred firehouses in the city, not everyone needs to go there.
If you want shirts and stuff get them from a firehouse, the museum, or the fire zone on 51 street in Rockefeller Center, NOT the NYC FIRE store in the West Village
