Default Individual CE hours in Texas- Online?

Does anyone have any information for an online course that offers CE (Continuing Education) hours for an individual holder in Texas?

I am a basic structural firefighter and I need to obtain the minimum CE hours to keep my certification.

I was planning on sitting in on local fire academies and classes. But, I realized the diversity of the classes I need will make this a lengthy process.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    EDIT:

I actually found a great one:

One route you may want to consider is to find a local volunteer department to join. As a way to recruit and retain members, many departments offer courses/training that meets T.C.F.P. guidelines for CE hours.

I would advise to only join a volunteer department if you are truly willing to put the time and effort into serving the department, not just to obtain CE hours.

Really? Wow, I've never seen that on any T.C.F.P. or T.M.L.'s Fire Department Employment Postings as one of their minimum requirements to be considered for employment.

Was your individual holder certs. about to expire right before you got hired by this department? From what you have said in your previous post, am I correct in determing that your department you got on with does not give you CE hours themselves?

I too have by referred to http://www.firefighterce.com. I was told the website is pretty good.

Well, I think that I am being tested in a way. They have given me a whole list of things to do.

Anyways, so far I would recommend that website to anyone. It is very quick.

My only question now is when I do print up everything and turn in my stuff to the commission, how long will they take to process it all?

I would bet it would probably take around the same amount of time it took to process your initial T.C.F.P. basic fire cert. (2-4 weeks)
