    Default The Super Glove

wondering if anyone uses the Firedex Super glove, like em, love em, hate em

I tried on a pair the other day loved the feel of them and the dexterity they gave me but how do they hold up. if i buy a pair am i going to have to replace them in a year or will tehy last as long as the pigskin gloves I currently have (We get like 4 house fires a year)

I've had a pair for about a year. They are great for fires. Very easy to get on and off, stay dry on the inside even when soaked on the outside, and they're wearing pretty well. They are less dextrous than the Protech's, but I prefer the SG's for fires.

I've had a pair at my career department for about a year now. They've seen several years worth of fires using your 4/year comparison. The only other gloves I've had are the standard cow/elkhide gloves and a pair of kangaroo hide by the same company that makes the SuperGlove (I believe it was a predecessor).

They're more dextrous than the other styles of gloves I've worn and seem to be wearing well. Plus, I have yet to have an issue with the inner lining pull out when I pull my hand out of the glove.

I love them. I hate to wear gloves, but I bought a pair just for work - they fit that well.
