    Default Another Happy Dance

As I continue to work grants for my dept. I still get happy when we score another one, no matter what the size. We were just informed that we received a Firemans Fund Heritage Grant.
Working now on a Pennsylvania Energy Efficiency grant to make my station more energy efficient...to the tune of $250,000.
Kurt...do you have any expertise in this area? Anyone?

Attack, only solicitation period I can find closed in April 2009 according to PEDA. All the rest are either residential or for-profit initiatives.

    https://www.grants.dcnr.state.pa.us/...ntProgramId=13

Shouldn't be an issue for most but check Appendix A. Any county or municipality listed can't apply for themselves because they already received funding through this initiative. Anyone under them can. For instance Bucks is listed and so are Bristol Twp & Northampton Twp in Bucks. That means those 3 can't apply for themselves but other applicants meeting the eligibility requirements located there can including the fire departments.

Just got off the phone with Harrisburg contact on it to make sure I was reading it correctly in the Guidance. He also said that those in the direct assistance list could use the direct money they got for projects involving other eligible applicants in their areas instead of just their own buildings too.
