MABAS Training

Anyone going to the MABAS training next week?

First I've heard about it.. Where/when? Guessin its a northern thing?

If your not signed up, it's probably to late. Starts tomorrow at 6am at NIPSTA, northern Chicago. They are requesting a min of 2 from each division, several emails were sent, so if you didn't know poke your div president. Training is on Tent city, how to setup/tear down and we get to sleep in it...wo-hoo, back-fill/reimbursement available, also have a motel for the long travelers.

Training was great!! what a setup, western shelter is the only way to go. MABAS has 3- 220 man setups, in 3 semi trailers. Just a heads up there will be another training in October or November, their goal is to replace the Zumro with 1-20 man tent with air and heat and if you want one in your division, make plans to attend, if you don't send someone you won't get one.
