So this will be my first federal grant so I apologize for all the questions!
I was wondering what you think a reasonable total amount for SAFER grants would be? I have tons of ideas bouncing around in my head and could easily ask for an unreasonable amount of money. Then I started asking myself what reasonable would be.
Thanks for any help!

More SAFER Questions

That would depend on so many questions.....
It has to be a reasonable cost - but determining reasonable can be like nailing jello to the wall.
What ideas do you have?

I assume since you have "several ideas" you're talking about a recruitment grant. (Hiring in 2008 was limited to $108,380 -- this is adjusted each application period)
As long as you have an eligible project and can provide justification, the sky is the limit. Like any of the AFG projects, the more you ask for, the more you have to justify.

To the Gurus out there: Any word on when SAFER '09 will open up? If the answer is posted in another thread, I haven't come across it. Thanks!
