About LinkBacksIs it possible on any departments these days to choose between the 3/4 boots and long coat?
just wondering i thought NYFD gave you the choice of which to wear.

Come on FWD...
Dude this is a new guy, obviously a kid, can we cut him just a wee bit of slack for his unforgivable gaff of calling the FDNY the NYFD?
We gotta stop beating up new guys here.

and old Scott air packs with the elephant trunks and the baddest of the bad asses on the department have nicknames like axe and bull and.......oh nevermind

idk.. i feel like an idiot lol. Its cool though.
So there isnt no choice. i could swear i heard in the Bronx or in New York you were given the choice.

I'm not beating up on anyone! I never heard of NYFD!! He could be speaking of North York Fire Department, or North Yarmouth Fire Department......Besides, where I come from the new guys get beat up the hardest!
