    Default Middletown, PA Remounted Aerialscope

Awhile ago I was going through Hazle Twp Fire Aerialscope page of there new scope being built and came across a pic of a old Mack CF that had its Scope boom, jacks, and outriggers removed. And also new body and the turntable being redone. The only thing for markings of a unit/dept where Truck Co. 88 on the rear most compartments.

Well last night I was just doing a Aerialscope search and final found out it was Middletown, Pa 95' Scope being remounted. Here are links to the pages that deal with there remount.

IIRC, this was one of the very first 95' Scopes built, and was actually a demonstrator for a while prior to being sold to Middletown.

Looks like an excellent Mack CF chassis to refurb into a 2000 gallon water tank pumper tanker.

    Damn I love those CF's!!

actually, it was one of the very last ones built. It was a demonstrator that did not sell well because it was one of the very last ones on Mack CF chassis.

The first Mack 95' scopes was built around 1985 and the last one was delivered to FDNY in 1991.

The Middletown rig was sold in early 1990.

When I was at Seagrave in April they said it would probably be sold as is.
