A FDNY member died Friday morning while hospitalized for a stroke he suffered while responding to a fire. FF Paul Warhola, 47, of Engine 221 in Brooklyn, responded to a fire Wednesday around 1530 hours. He became ill and was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center, where his condition worsened. He was a 16-year veteran. Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Warhola is married and has a daughter. As always our condolences go out to those affected.
