I know you are probably wondering why I am writing on this forum, after all its now 2009 and the world is moving on from that dreadful day Sept 2001. I just really feel like I want to say to the Hero's of that day - Good work guys!! You did the world proud.
I live in the UK and I have been doing alot of research into the events of 9/11 and without starting a political debate i think that in many ways your government failed you on that fateful day. You men and women, the rescue workers - you are hero's...
I myself a qualified nurse and I see hero's every single day - however recently watching footage of what you guys did that day - you have my upmost respect.

Maybe you were not present that day, but I am sure firefighters all over nyc knows someone affected by 9/11.....
