    Does anyone here work for them? I was looking into their department and wanted to know if someone working there could give me some more info

    Their hiring process is done through the Lee County Fire Chief's Association. www.floridafirejobs.org . But...I'm pretty sure you're gonna find a job down there hard to come by...Lehigh Acres just laid off a ton....foreclosure rate is like the highest in the state. I tested with them in April...scored pretty high too...and haven't heard a peep!

    they are going through a hiring process without the lee county fire chiefs association. they are doing their own physical test later this month.

    Well what the hell was the point of that whole process I went through?! They should have at least contacted those applicants that made it through that one....considering we paid our own money....when some of us didn't really have much...and were told that those depts would be hiring from that list.

    I missed this application by minutes. I was very upset. I know someone that works there and it sounds like a great department.

    Be careful with those group testings. I got burned by the Manatee Fire Chief's Association testing years ago. I'll never do that again. They spent a day testing all of us, but the departments hire very rarely and most that I'm aware of only hire their volunteers.

    I got a 3:19, and very few were getting times under me. I hope i get in the top 30 times.

    don't know much about their hiring process, but if you do get hired, when they do their wildland cross training, you'll likely be coming to see me for the Forestry side of things. ( I'm in a different Forestry district, but we are physically closer to the Cape when it comes to responses)
