Blah blah blah. He did more in his life than you could ever dream of doing. Let us know when you win nine terms to the US Senate.

Of course Teddy went to a freind's house after driving off of a bridge with a girl in his car......and promptly took a nap. Instead of calling for help.

Then again, you think no Democrat can do any wrong.....so why should any of us be surprised.

The only one missing something here is you. You missed the total lack of a comparison between these two incidents and you missed what constitutes negligent homicide (or negligent manslaughter depend on local statute).

Laura Bush ran a stop sign, likely by accident, and hit a car in which an occupant was not wearing a seatbelt and got ejected causing fatal neck and head trauma. Laura did not evade the scene of the accident or pretend like nothing happened. It was a car accident like any other.

Ted Kennedy drove his car off a bridge and left his girlfriend he was cheating on his wife with in the car to drown. He did not call for help. He just left her to die. If he had been drinking, it could escalate the charges even further. Are you really going to sit there with a straight face and say these two incidents are the same?

I don't care how many times some bafoon got elected. Votes don't mysteriously make the murder disappear. People like you who pretend nothing happened make it disappear.

Where are the cries about privilege and wealth buying him slack? Imagine if this was a Bush that committed this crime??? But no, he was great because he rode on the family name and got elected multiple times in the senate.

How did you get so sour in the short time you have been living? Did you have to work on it or was it inbred into you? Geesh!

There is nothing that you agree with. Cast blame on everyone, from kids riding tricycles to firefighters driving fire apparatus who are involved in an accident and be the first one in these forums to say that they are at fault not even knowing any of the facts let alone living up in East Arm Pit, NY!

I never cared for any of the Kennedys but he did amount to something unlike you! Throw you and LaFire Educator in a bag along with a few other so called experts and see what comes out after you shake it for five minutes!

Gee, who pee'd in your corn flakes this morning? In 52 years I went from a 70s question authority save the planet person caught up in the leftist way to a middle of the roader who sees the leftist for what they really are. Unlike some, I realized over time that people like Kennedy are absolutely clueless and a detriment to this country.

As for agreeing, what fun is that? Makes for a boring existence to be an agreement drone. I took the road less traveled, and that made all the difference - Robert Frost - That about says it all. I won't be lead around by popular opinion. Show me sound reasoning and facts, then I follow. I don't let emotions cloud my judgment.

I think I started to realize how screwed up the left is when I was working and couldn't sleep at night because the welfare bums next door were partying all night and making noise. Meanwhile I get up at 5 am and drag my butt to work, just to support their sorry butts.

Former Rep. James Traficant was released from federal prison Wednesday.

CNN affiliates KTTC and KAAL report that Traficant left the Federal Medical Center prison facility in Rochester, Minnesota Wednesday morning in a cab headed toward the nearby Greyhound bus station. A bus heading in the direction of his former home area of Youngstown, Ohio leaves at 10:30 am CT.

The nine-term Democratic congressman served just over seven years in federal prison for charges that included obstruction of justice, tax evasion and bribery.

He too will be remembered as a great man by the left.

Bottom line. Both were involved in an auto accident that resulted in the death of another human beings. Semantics aside, that is the point you choose to ignore with Laura Bush.

I never said he was great. I said being elected to the senate nine times was an achievement.

I did point a Bush that committed a similar crime. But we're told to ignore it since the individual was such a nice person and couldn't possibly have done anything considered heinous. Laura was from a prominent family in that section of Texas. Could her family's wealth and privilege possibly have bought her any slack as well? Or does that only happen with prominent liberal families?

The actual event is not near as important as the actions each person choose to take after the event.

SAMANTICS????? You think the negligent homicide, the wilful depraved indifference to life, the leaving her to drown after driving off a bridge, the wilful failure to act, all probably while drunk, that resulted in his cheating girlfriend's death is semantics???

There was no negligence, evading responsibility, or depraved indifference in the Laura Bush accident. There was no crime comitted. There was no intent. It was a plain and simple tragic car accident. One that, by the way, would probably not have been fatal if the other person was wearing a seatbelt, if you want to talk about semantics. She didn't run him over with the car while trying flee the scene after hitting him.

What a moronic post and comparison.

You are deceiving yourself if you think that Kennedy's accident can be described as, "an auto accident that resulted in the death of another..".

So killing someone while driving drunk is the same as driving sober?

And let us not forget, one was a child, one was a senator. HUGE difference
