anyone have a sketch / diagram of how they standardize placement & / or inventory of their vehicles for a good visualize representation during morning check offs as oppossed to just looking down a list??

one engine company i worked on had the traditional compartment doors. On the door was a laminated piece of paper with a picture of the compartment and a list on what was in the compartment. You could easily open the compartment look at the picture and the list of equipment, to tell if everything was in it proper place or what was in the compartment.
It was a combination engine. So it helped the vollies that didnt run that often or the career transfer-man in for the day. The assigned career and active vollies didn't need it but it helped for those brain fart moments.
