Well the R&D team made it to Quebec safe and sound. Those jet packs worked out fantastic. They made it to Quebec from Never Never Land in less than an hour, would have taken 6 hours by car. Anyways, they went right to work with Chris and have held their first test of the prototype. There is bad news. It did not go well. Here are the photos from that first test. Don't worry, Chris says this will work so they are going right back to work. Love that never give up spirit.

Important stats:

Prototype balloon - Standard lighter than air sight seeing balloon
Hose used (and lost to fire) - 100 feet of cotton jacket 1-3/4"
Water used (and wasted) - 30 gallons
Pump - Standard 3/4 GPM sump pump donated by local Ace hardware store

The team is still busy up in Quebec. During a break in the building of V2 of the SkySnake prototype they took a few minutes and came up with a new tool for the ground troops.

They are asking for feedback on the new balloon design and the new water blaster.

I can lol, I am trained in 3D animation with maya 8.5 and virtools 4.0.
I did approach people within my government but I've been told that the problem is not important enough here in Quebec to get the project started and that I should try it in the US instead, or in British Colombia. I chose to start here because I thought US people were people that think big.

Bad news from north of the boarder. Chris and the R&D team from HUH Engineering have failed. From what I have been told the replacement Darth Vader balloon was shot down on its maiden flight. Unknown to Chris there was a Jedi base not 20 miles from the world headquarters of Carbone LTD which is located just outside Quebec City. When they tried to test the new V2 balloon it was mistakenly thought to be an attack by the Empire and promptly shot down by Jedi defenders.

But there is good news. Chris is going to redirect his efforts in a new venture. His new idea, or invention, not sure what he is considering this one, is a sheep breeding business. But like his SkySnake he has again not given this enough thought and has a very obvious problem. According to his business plan his flock is made up entirely of female sheep. Now I'm no Sheppard but I thought one would need at least one male to make this venture work. Well, I'm sure with his superior intelligence he'll figure something out. He did say he was going to give it his all. He is also looking for, why I don't know, a good pair of ¾ high boots. Must be muddy in the barnyard.

Heck, if we can use drones to drop bombs and do reconnaissance then why not fly a hose up in to the air.

Now there's a thought.... modify a Predator to do Air Attack! I mean, you don't have to actually fly to be an Air-Tac Group Sup anymore... you get to sit in front of a big screen and basically play Flight Simulator. Should definitely appeal to the incoming generation!
