    I've always admired the FDNY and it's ability to create rigs that suit just them

    One would think that the FDNY would stay with a sole source and not have a ride that looks like a Heniz 57.

    I know that they used Mack/Saulsbury, Mack/Eaton, Mack/Baker, Seagrave/Baker, etc., and they worked very well.

    But to use a Sparten Chassis assmebled by Ferrara, I don't know. I know Chris would build the FDNY anything they want.

    That's kind of my opinion. Ferrara already had their FDNY specific chassis, so I'm sure that was an option.

    They already have 3 Ferrara built collapse units...
    Collapse 1,2,4 are 2005 Mack/Ferraras.......
