Has anybody bumbed into firefighting ATV? In many cases you should reach places which are kind of hard-to-reach.
I think they use these rescue ATVs in many countries already.

JonB, 4 posts all with links to the same website... Could you be any more transparent?
There are at least 4 departments in our county that have ATVs for wildland firefighting and rescues.
We have a Gator with a 75 gallon tank and a space to haul a pt.
Hey Firetacoma,
While I don't work for Unruh, I do work with them and have been hitting the boards to learn as much as I can about what firefighters want to see in assorted apparatus. That's how we came up with the "Apparatus Architect" campaign, and that's why on occasion (like today) I have asked for feedback on a unit like Unruh's Rescue Trailer.
If I do see a question as above where somebody asks about a firefighter ATV or where they can find out more about Unruh specs for example, I'm just answering the question that was put out there, and I don't see a problem with that as I'm being responsive and wanting to learn as much as possible about the industry. That being said, if you think I need to do more with transparency, let me know...certainly not trying to be sneaky or spammy or put the guys at Unruh in a bad light.
I see that EJ Metals in Hortonville Wisconsin just built 31 Kubota RTV's for the Bagram Air Force Base overseas. They are 900 Kubota with a hydraulic circuit, high pressure foam, 300 gallons of water and they have a hydraulic tool circuit for running chain saws, sump pumps, etc. The Kubota is ROPS certified and a full hydrostatic transmission. Quite the unit!
Our Department is extremly rural and we are looking into a 6 wheel (Gator type) unit with a 75 gallon skid and room to lay a back board to haul out injured Hunters, Loggers, etc.... If anyboy has any ideas or comments it would be appriciated.
