hello people, I was thinking about go up to Butte fire academy. Does anyone know about it? Has anyone been through the academy themselves? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You want to make sure that ANY academy you attend is certified by the State. If you attend one that is not, you are not eligible to take departments tests that require a basic fire academy. I believe the one in Butte is state certified.
