If you were going to purchase the "traditional style" helmet, which would be the most comfortable? I know I will get several different answers but just getting a general idea as to what everyone prefers. Our department issues the paul conway brand. That is all I know about it, not sure what actual model type it is. It is just not very comfortable and looking for something with better comfort.

Try them on, the one that fits you best is the most comfortable. It really is that simple.

The Ben II and the Paul Conway are basically the same helmet. They were designed by the same person. But you can never go wrong wearing a leather!!

Well, except for the fact that if you bought a plastic traditional you would still have enough money to upgrade to leather boots and a better pair of gloves. Maybe even a carbon hood. Or perhaps a bailout kit and GutBelt.
I loved my leather helmet but I am not ever going to pay that kind of money again considering the horrific luck I had with my N6A Sam Houston.
