Questions about DOD fire academy

I plan on attending the DOD fire academy and I have the following questions:
1. Do prior service have different quarters?
2. Is there a PT test prior to graduation(ARMY APFT)?
3. Are prior service folks allowed to leave the base area over the weekends?

Yes to all 3, and for question 3, you are free to do as you choose when the day is done.

One more question, is the PT test a typical army pt test or is it more an endurance test more appropriate for firemen? I ask because I viewed a video on you tube from the DOD academy and it said Army PT test, so I am confused.

As for the Army you have to do the Army APFT and all DOD students have to do the Firefighters pt. or callange course in 8 min. at Goodfellow. So the answer is that you have to do both of the them .

firefighters pt was a joke... idk how so many people had problems with it.

seriously how do you graduate boot camp and go to MOS school and cant pass a physical fitness test. its ridiculous, the military is getting to soft these days.
