Hello everyone. Just saying my hellos here from South Carolina. I'm currently a dispatcher for the South Carolina Highway Patrol, and also finishing up an application for the Howe Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Just need to get my 10-year SCDMV record on Friday so I can submit the app.

I've been involved with emergency services for about 2 years now, either through dispatching or through my local Civil Air Patrol squadron. I decided the other day though to get more active and involved with emergency services after having my first real call at 2am in the morning on Saturday responding to a downed helicopter call. I guess you'd say that call got me bit by the bug; that and I've wanted to get more out on the road and out from behind the radio for some time now.
