The 10 Q's will come along and after you answer them , if approved and passed by the technical review folks the award announcement will come up on your application site. This is where the final number of $$$ will be listed. Some folks get a phone call from their congress critters office some don't, just prior to the official award announcement.

    Good luck

looks like you took that Nashville training to heart. You have been busy sharing the knowledge.

I do what I can Vaughn. Several departments here are still in need and most have never applied. Just found 2 more 1199's that were not there this morning. One for SCBA's (they only have 2 antiques), and another for PPE. Now if only I can get some of the trucks to start rolling.

I saw that earlier as I was checking the list and was going to give you a heads up on it, but figured you had seen it already. Congrats. I'm all for a double up.

I noticed a reduction in the dollar amounts for our PPE request several weeks back. Is that an indication that our grant will be funded??
We recieved a grant in 05 for a vehicle, do i look under that grant for the new reference # or will it be under the 09 grant since the 09 grant is for OPS and not a vehicle???
If we get an 1199 update, where will it be located??

It's an indicator that your grant is moving forward. You are looking good, but there are still several steps before the award announcement.

Log into your '05 grant and expand the action box. You are looking for "View 1199A", click on it and see if you have a reference to the '09 grant which will be in red, similar to what the reference to '05 looks like.

Just checked and found 1199A this morning for hose washer and dryer, request for funding for hose washer was reduced to 0 though.

Thanks once again BC79er for all your help over the years, and thanks to everyone on this board for all the valuable information.

I found an 1199a this morning for a small regional communications application - two cross banded repeaters so we can talk to our neighboring county. It wasn't there at midnight.

First time I checked this morning and found an 1199 for a rescue tool replacement grant. I believe the last I checked was around 11 last night.

Found budget change on one I wrote for three truck-mounted exhaust systems. Had written it at $9,400; reduced to $8,500 each. Nothing on their 1199a yet.
