This will be a second truck, but not in a row. We received a dj for this vehicle request in the last round of djs last year. Ended up tweeking the narrative and resubmitting for this year. Looks like it scored well to be this early in the process. And this will be a double for us. I am not sure how the other departments in the area are doing yet. They havent said anything.

Just got a request to update my 1199a as we have added a seperate bank account for grant expenditures.
The update is for my 1st priority. A regional interoperable radio communications application for $272,329. No reductions. Islandfire, may be picking your brain again.
I have reductions on my OPS application for structural turnouts, wildland turnouts (quantity and pricings) and scba which they did not reduce quantity, but pricings to the normal $5,250 ea. No 1199a activity on it yet though. It's reduced to $48,000
I still have out my vehicle application for a Quick attack/brush truck which I requested 10% above last years highest award. Request is for $137,500 on that one. Yes its up there.
AFter I calm down a little, I will talk with the help desk about the account changes.
I am excited and optimistic, but 'cautiously' optimistic.
Oh! And it wasn't there at 5:00pm CST yesterdayLast edited by jam24u; 12-18-2009 at 12:35 PM.

1199s for two OPS grants (two different departments obviously) that weren't there this morning around 10am CST...these two grants include thermals, head-to-toe gear, cascade, SCBAs, and training!!!
ETA: Just to add, I found a reduction that wasn't there at 1pm CST...it's 1:38pm now...for those interested in that info--although I know this isn't a reduction thread!Last edited by CaptainReb22; 12-18-2009 at 02:38 PM.

Can't tell if these things are still being manaully released or automated. Lots of early AM reports would seem to indicate automated, but CaptainReb makes it sound like they're still drifting in.
Oh well, who needs fingers.

1199's
Are most of the 1199"S recieved so far to those departments who had grant writer's do grant's or did they do their own grants ????
I would Like to see how many departments did their own grant's or had some one else do them and how successful each was.

2 1199's today
Just got the 1199 for my OPS. It wasn't there at last check around 11:50am CST
I got my regional 1199 earlier this morning. It looks to me more like automated notifications.
Now I hope and pray my Vehicle app comes through. C'mon baby, Daddy needs an new truckie too.

Two more OPS 1199s...found them about ten minutes ago...wasn't there thirty minutes earlier...I've been steadily checking them all day...one for a ton of medical equipment including a 12-lead monitor; the other for a cascade, gear, and SCBAs.
Been a good day so far...
ETA: Found them around 2:45pm CST.
