Funny that gets brought up. Last month whoever shopped for the monthly meeting bought a bunch of Klondike bars, now we have guys singing that tune.

Isn't it some sort of frozen thing of artificial ingredients that is supposed to pass for an ice cream sandwich?

My idea of a real ice cream sandwich were I to indulge and eat one would be along the lines of :

step 1. make homemade peach ice cream (with bits of fresh peaches and candied ginger in it).
step 2. while that is freezing make homemade gingersnaps.
step 3. when ice cream is done and cookies are baked, take one ginger snap upside down, put scoop of peach ice cream on it. top with another gingersnap, right side up. eat.

I also see we have a probie* in this thread. (mcwops). Put him on dish duty.

You do know, that I do expect at least a couple dozen of those "PEACHY ICE CREAM SANDWICHES", don't you.
