Was OK, Roger That, Did Copy, Affirm, Yepper that...
I was trying to keep it short at to the point.
Actually, don't need Roger and Wilco in the same transmission, since Wilco implies you already received message. Today no one I am aware of even uses Wilco, but Roger is alive and well. Kind of like fubar and snafu.
But I always like that old dufus saying...
Now we just text everything in shorthand... kind of like back to morse code again. I have to keep my code book handy just to decipher what the hell someone is saying.HAVE PLAN.............WILL TRAVEL

Yep affirmative to that as well. I always like that word better than 10-4.
When the CB craze came into vogue back in 1975, 10-4 was all you heard. I'm glad we got always from the codes.
Some department still say Roger and Check instead of ten four. I hear some talking like a cb'er some times.
Cookies? Rookies don't get cookies, until they have served their time on the job. Then maybe one or two a day, if that!

Yep, and everybody was somebody's "Good Buddy". I always asked their 10-20 on 19.

Do we still make the tscht noise at the end of each transmission?
