Now that would all depend on which "falls" you were talking (paddling) about. If you mean the REAL falls, I think you'd have a better chance of surviving the "suddent stop" a lot more than you might if you were on the Not-So-Real-Falls, cuz ya know them rocks at the bottom would really hurt. Conversely, if you were trying to paddle away from the Not-So-Real-Falls, you might be able to get away, because I suspect the current may not be as fast.... I've never tried to paddle either set of falls, so this is just a "guessing statement".

I have never been to either Not so Real or Niagra Falls, so I don't know if trying to paddle toward, away from or sideways in either situation is possible or advisable.

Past that, let's make this easy...

Don't paddle to toward the drain in the bathtub.

If {like me} you're not into medicating for things like the sickies, you could try making some fennel seed and ginger tea. The dried herbs work just as well as fresh for this. A warm cuppa, sweetened with honey or sugar, every other hour might help.

hmm..I don't think I'd have to easy a time trying to feed that to a 5 year old lol.....BUT - she has now kept a piece of toast and some water down.....and a little white rice and water.....

It will be nap time in a few minutes - debating if I am going to nap too, or go outside for a few - it is actually ABOVE FREEZING today!~

You could make little popsicle out of it, that would also help keep her hydrated in a fun way while helping to ease the nausea. She'd feel like she was getting a sweet treat.

This may work really well. After the first one I think the healing will be an incredible thing before the next dose. Sorry firecat that just sounds evil.

It's actually quite tasty, so try it before ya knock it. I like hot ginger/lemon/honey tea at night anyway and adding fennel seeds {only 1 teaspoon per pot} when needed gives it a slightly licorice-y kick.
