It's tough enough just riding the Fire Rigs and keeping up with the youngens. They keep telling me that I'm breathing too much air. I think they might be trying to tell me something.

Funny how those mounts carry you 'around the block' so much faster when you're having fun.

I have a mix of PR/Col.....good OLD Foundation lines.....ones you can leave in the pasture for a year then head out on the trail bareback with no bit!.......I tried uploading an avatar picture...hmm.....have a bunch of my 'kids' on line....even used one in a Haz Mat Specialist class a few years back....boy was the class surprised when they were told they had to decon a HORSE! ROFL.....

I haven't been on a trotting horse in a few years now.....the old back and knees aren't up to it! Been kind of retired from the active fire duty too for a could years - having a little one around will do that......

Ok - probably too much info for the others here...rofl.....feel free to shoot me a pm if you want to chat more!

Sorry Bro, I drank the (hic) wine and now I can't find the cheese.

I did save that BIG GULP cup for ya though.

    Never mind...

    I forgot...

I feed my fish bait the cheese... in your cup.

You want it back? I'm sure I can wash it out.

Ah heck, I'm going fishing... just hasn't been my day at all.
What kind of fishing you looking to do? We have some the best Trout fishing on the east cost, here in Jackson County.

We have a nice stocked pond in my Mom's back yard - about 2 acres - pulled some nice bass out of it this year - and some 3-4lb catfish too!.....

Oh - I had to bait the hooks!

Thats one of the things that I miss about not living in Wake Co., Bass fishing. While trout fishing is fun, it does not a candle to bass fishing.

I know about the Smoky Mtn Streams but never fished there. I don't know much, just what I have read or been told.

I grew up between Kentucky and the Ozarks. My grandad was my fishing-mentor when I would go visit around Branson, Missouri; about 40 to 50 years ago. It has changed alot.

Trout is great. White River Missouri (Ozarks) is a favorite place. Has pretty good rainbow and browns.

I wish I had more time to get around. I'm trying to complete this current assignment within the next year. Perhaps I will take some time to catch up before I move again. My problem is I've been in 3 states in 7 years and never have time to see the sites.

My fishing now is limited to a lake and a couple catfish ponds. It gets me by until I can get back to the Mighty White! Maybe I'll get down your way one day.

Harve, does the Triton rig still follow Bassmasters around? Since BASS went to Skeeter, I figured they'd quit following the series as much. Btw, have you heard any of the reports on the new Yamaha 4 stroke motors??

I'm looking forward to the Classic coming to Birmingham, That's only about a 2 hour drive from the house. I made it there last time they were in Alabama for the Classic, and it was quite a show!

Meanwhile, back with the fishing news...
I can't seem to get on a winter pattern around here. The water temps are bumping the mid to high 40's and the bass are about as fickle as a vegetarian at an all meat buffett. Maybe I should try something with a fuse.. Pickwick can be a bear this time of year..

Apparently they had enough blast power; just didn't launch it far enough.
