Well- wind has blown most of the driveway clear.....put the plow on the truck tonight and it only took 10 minutes! First try too! Woo Hoo!!!.....this is a 'Boss' plow - one you drive up to - up until now it seems like every time I tried to line it up it would take about 10 tries to get the parts lined up right so the pins go in.
Husband said something about 5-8 inches of snow expected tonight...oh joy!.....guess who does (almost) all the plowing here?!?!?!....NOT HIM! lol.......

Partly cloudy 61 degrees here 2day.

Sorry all that snow slows ya down. Guess I'm in front for awhile.

Our lows are in the teens to single digits. Thankfully there hasn't been any snow. Actually surprised after last years 2 blizzards in December. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a MILD snowy winter.
For you all that are getting the white stuff, take it easy and slow. I'd like to see you around when spring hits.

Well.............
You misspelled Deadskins..........
It's Cold. The Mountains scrub the Snow out before it gets here, so no Flakes........
The top of Big Savage Mountain is 9 miles west of Cumberland, and there is about 14 inches on the Mountain. The "Urban" area of Cumberland is Bare, No Snow anywhere........
Roanoke had maybe an inch, but Eastbound Trains were passing through with a lot more that that piled on.......Never use Force! Get a Bigger Hammer.

Well, no sign of the snow we were supposed to get...wind blew most of the drive clear, have about a 2-3 foot drift in back of the house that will need to get cleared out.....AND still need to get the snow fence up!.....

My favorite of all times: Dispatcher makes announcement over the air for "All Companies Check Your Mics"!
OK they checked them and they are where they are suppose to be. The company that by chance which may have the open mic and causing the carrier, will never hear the dispatcher.
I can't remember how many times we have told communications this!! I wonder sometimes, where these folks come from!

The 1st pic is looking down the sidewalk to the mailbox.
The 2nd is the front half of our driveway after 2 days of shoveling.Last edited by firecat1; 08-17-2011 at 03:39 PM.
