Today/yesterday was just brutal. You just couldn't put enough on or keep warm. Spent about 2.5 hours replacing a blown outrigger hose on scene. The dang wind cut through everything, and the blowing snow that wasn't supposed to measure to anything, ended up being 5 inches. It is #3 on the "Worst sucky day to work" list. (yep, I have a list, with some pics... lol)

Guys had a worker last night in a trailer park on the side of a hill. Damn near got three trucks stuck, heck the towns salt truck wrecked trying to get the boys out of there. Glad, no one was hurt. I'm also glad I'm at my folks for Christmas, and not having to play in the snow. Everyone please becareful and watch your six.

Not sure about where Cheffie is, but I do know that the Air Force got called out to help rescue a bunch of "lost folks" on the western 401/London/Sarnia areas today.
Oh.... and this puts me back in the lead again!

The only problem is that those folks were determined to go out even tho Whiteout Conditions were well broadcast. Stupidity/lack of knowledge is one thing; deliberate arrogance in the face of proper information is another and is just not on. Originally Posted by BULL321
