I'd rather mow grass than shovel snow which, btw, another 6-8 inches fell in yesterday's storm. I'm just thankful I wasn't further South because Lower Ontario got hammered.

I had the mis-fortune (?) to be in Mississaugua/Toronto last night (or was that this morning?) anyhow, yep they got hammered. ABOUT TIME TOO!!!! Cuz during the first week of Dec, when we got hit, they barely got dusted.

I found one of those books that once you start, you don't put down until you finish reading it.

I've been reading his fathers book. It is really very good. He is able to make you laugh about the miserable and frustrating situations with real solutions.

It is worth your time it has helped me alot I was one of those officers that the crew feared more than any fire.

No sir. I got promoted becouse I got results. My Chief had a master plan though. I'm not ashamed to say this works better. One of the Fire Services trainers borrowed me a copy of the book and my wife got me my own right quick.

I think Miller meant himself, for misreading Harve's post.
We got lucky THIS weekend and only got a dusting. And considering we were covering an outdoor pond hockey event Saturday and Sunday, that's a GOOD thing.
