Believe it or not, it is still winter here. Rain and wind and wind and rain! I think I saw the sun back in January for about 30 minutes.

I think the only people who like the rain are the fire departments here. I usually hear and see fire trucks responding all day long when it is bright and sunny, especially in this area. Yet, when it rains, I almost never see them. I have not seen or heard one fire engine yet today and it has been pouring all day. Where are you hiding????

I am craving peanut butter cookies. Let me know if you want to be a taste tester this weekend. I will probably add chocolate chunks to them since chocolate is a food group and it goes with everything.

Just got home from work. Took about 10 minutes cleaning of the inch of snow that just dumped in 20 or so minutes. Still more on the way Friday into Saturday. WTH???

As for the peanut butter cookies.... Hope you made a FEW dozen for me to sample. And even after that, I may need to sample a FEW more..... DOZEN!!!

Snowed last Thursday, Saturday, and right now. Seems clear for the rest of the week. Around here, an April snowstorm isn't unheard of.

We had a heck of a strome come through late last night/early this morning. We had two homes struck by lighting! Sucks to live on the top of a mountain.

I miss the mountains brother. At least there ya'll have stuff to do in the winter time AND the summer. Here, you have to wait until late spring to even think of going to the beach. Really nothing else to do once late fall sets in.

Yeah, back before a wife, two kids, a third one on the way, the Marine Corps and four billets, and college. Having a full day for hunting is far and few between brother. Hell, I can't even remember the last time I got to go fishing, and the fishing is great here. Even without the trout streams it's good.

I was just messing with you. The last time I went fishing was over 4 years ago before my daughter was born. Between splitting time between the Sheriff's Office the Fire Dept. and my Family there's not much left over for fishing or hunting. But hey at least I can squeeze some time in to take the lead!
