Hey! Harve, you'll never guess where I'm spending most of my weekend. Tottenham, Ontario..... Tottenham BLUEGRASS Festival. Yep. Bluegrass man. Was there last night, and am heading back again shortly.

Still kinda wondering somthin' tho. Why do y'all call it "Bluegrass" when plainly anyone can see the grass is....

    GREEN

I Love bluegrass! great music. I am a fiddler/banjo player myself. I'm actually playing at a local festival tomorrow. Anyway, Malahat, Bluegrass is blue, hence the name. Just visit any part of KY and it will become evident.

There was a Bluegrass/earth first festival here last weekend. Chief Woods could of been the real hero at it with his tractor puller which runs on gallons per feet.

Well ya see, I have been into KY. Down around Fort Campbell way, and it was the Labour Day long weekend, and what grass I saw were NOT blue. Mostly pretty brown, and some green, but weren't much for blue.

Now maybe I was in the wrong part of the state, or the wrong time of year, but even though the medics tell me I'm colour blind on green and red, I still know what blue looks like

Next time, go in the summer, to eastern KY, and look out over a horse pasture. You can see the Blue. Look across the grass, not at it, and it will have a blue tinge.

hahaha. I have a non funny question here. Why do people on this site tend to act really viciously? They attack you for no reason... and I don't mean jokingly. There are of course plenty of nice people too...
