But they do pay us from time to time so it appears that they can find the courthouse.

At least they can find me to give me a check since I have no idea where the court house is.

Maybe that is how they can stay in office...

HAHAHAA. Had a cat named "GEEK" because that's what he was. A year later, friends of mine chased me down on the way home from work. One of our Sgts found a kitten in the dumpster behind Tim Hortons. He got called "BINRAT".

Somehow, we now have 3 kitties, 2 of which definitely qualify for the 'wingnut' award.

It has been my experience that you do not "have" a cat. It chooses to entertain itself by your company as long as living conditions and expectations are within the cat's acceptable limits. Some cats are more accepting than others, and their tolerable limits differ greatly.

Weird how one cat can be an attention-youknowwhat and another can be a total prude, they hate each other and live in the same house but somehow avoid each other for 14 years... Never understood that.

True and I mis-spoke myself. We are caretakers for 3 feline-shaped supreme deities, 2 of whom are NUTZ! and 1 that thinks he's a baby and should be held like one whenever I sit down. *sigh*

firecat... I have never responded to a cat on fire,

but I have seen flaming squirrels, flaming birds, flaming ducks and flaming dogs.

I always believed that cats were too fast to ignite.

I must ask... where did you find that picture of the flaming cat?
