    Is this some of your kinfolk?

    Ole and Lena went to the hospital so Lena could give birth to their first baby. As Ole waited in the lobby, the doctor came out to inform him that he had some good news and some bad news. "The good news is that you have a normal baby boy. The bad news is that it is a Caesarian."

    Ole started crying: "Vell, I'm glad it is a healthy baby...but I vas kinda hoping it vould be a Finn."

    Nope...not mine....

    Mine are the ones who walk up to a door that says 'pull'....and they push...and push...then finally go get some tools and take the door off the hinges, all the while muttering 'No damned door is going to tell ME what to do!'.....

    Seen in a farmers field yesterday: (sorry no camera, no pics )

    Imagine this: a large pile of dirt in the middle of the paddock. A 1/2 dozen or so cattle, ranging around the pile of dirt. Except for ONE. {this is where I wish I'd had the camera with me.}

    Except for one, who was standing ON TOP of the pile of dirt. Just kinda looking around at the others. Unfortunately I can not tell you if it was a "Bull" or a "cow"...... therefore, was it Bull On Top or not??? Enquiring minds want to know.

    Speaking of being on top. I have an amazing view from my apartment. My window faces west and I can see all the way across the city to the hills that block my view of the bay. But I am not complaining. I have to test my new oven out even though it is still a small one. I am going to bake some Irish Soda Bread. Let me know if you want some. I think later this week I may also try my new pan and make some red velvet cakes with vanilla buttercream frosting.

    We have a pretty nice view from our back deck too....should take some pictures and compare them!

    Have fun with the new oven - I'm still sporting a burn mark on my hand from the darned oven rack on Saturday.....although the strawberry cupcakes with chocolate frosting came out good.....and the filet mingnon with pan fried potatos was yummy last night.....lowly reheated pizza tonight - but it is my daughters ' birthday and that is what she wants tonight!
