You might get some help from Brian Humprey, LA City's PIO. Contact him here- http://lafdpso-b.blogspot.com

Also- Those Seagrave specs might be old. Are you looking for the Pierce?

There are some LAFD people at California Firefighter.com. Maybe post your question there as well.

Leather, having spec'd a lot of equipment in my time, I would suggest that if you contact the Pierce dealer for your area, he can get you those and you can also contact that department and they should be able to help you and send you a copy(s) of what every specfiations they use. See below:

I can tell you how many copies of spec's I have sent out on the rquipment that we bought a few years back.

Are you looking to order a truck or are you just wondering for general reference?

You might want to ask them what the spec will be on the new KME engines.

kyle, don't beleive everything you hear, i work for city and NOTHING has been ordered. this was a rumor started on another site. there has been no announcement as to who got the bid, i have even checked with our shop mechanics and they know nothing yet. due to budget problems it would not suprise me to see the orders put off until next fiscal year 2010-2011
