    Default Australian LODD - NSWFB

Just posting a link to an article about a fellow firefighter that i just heard about. If i can find more details that are available to the public, i will try to remember to put them here.

It doesn't happen very often to our brigade and that makes it just that bit harder.

    RIP Mate

Sad to hear and deepest sympathy to the brigade and his family.

Was he a retained fire firefighter or a perm?

Andrew was a retained (part-time) firefighter with the NSWFB.

    His funeral is tomorrow.

On behalf of the NSW Fire Brigade Employees' Union, and as a fellow NSWFB firefighter, condolances to the family and friends of Comrade Turnbull.

    RIP Brother...
