    WTF??

Teach people how to play with fire? I wonder how many people will get hurt doing this using a flammable liquid? I also wonder if the newspaper would pay for my injuries since they gave me instructions? hehehehe

As a side note, a roll of toilet paper,a bottle of rubbing alcohol, and a metal coffee can work great as a hand warmer in my tree stand. Much safer than using kerosene for sure.

They have obviously edited their content... or I'm missing something. When I click on the link, all I get is a suggestion to scrape words into the inside of the pumpkin and illuminate for a "subliminal" message.

Bill Schumm at www.firegeezer.com did a screen capture before the Globe pulled it. You can see it there.

The Globe evidentally got their idea from extremepumpkins.com, who says they got their idea from the Boy Scouts. I'm not defending anyone here... but we did use this exact method for torches in the Boy Scouts about 20 years ago -- in the middle of the woods, no less. They probably use glow sticks these days.
