    Default NBC's Trauma Canceled

Much to the excitement of many providers...

"NBC has decided not to order any more episodes of freshman medical drama "Trauma." ...NBC plans to continue airing the show for now, and will produce all 13 episodes from its current order (meaning the show will likely finish its run). After that, production on the show will shut down. "

    It was a horrible show.

Try Sesame Street. You'll be much happier.

Of all the emergency services related TV shows, Third Watch was the only one I didn't shake my head at. This stupid show is the one I shook my head at the most.

I guess we have reached the saturation point on emergency medicine inspired shows? It's about time. Now,what can we do to get Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey off the air?I've already put three tvs down and that hasn't worked yet.

Trauma was the BlueThunder of EMS. How could it go wrong?

I hear the last episode is going to see 90% of the staff laid off in favor of magical fire extinguishing agents!
-I have learned people will forget what you said,
-People will forget what you did,
-But people will never forget how you made them feel!

I gotta echo the others sentiments...

WHAT A PIECE OF ROYAL CRAP SHOW!

I recorded the first one on the DVR optimistically, but it was promptly erased and deleted from the schedule.

Obviously the viewing public were aware of how ludicrous it was too.

    Good Riddance.

You know... I agree that the show wasn't very good... but maybe we could be a little bit less celebratory about people losing their jobs? I can understand not having sympathy for actors and producers, etc... but there were other people working on that show - cameramen, etc. - who actually work for a living. I'm pretty sure none of them are cheering when firefighters get laid off.

I hear what you are saying.....but I can guarantee that NOBODY here is cheering the fact that folks are out of work, we're talking about the sheer stupidity of the show.

Losing a job is not a laughing matter, but killing this show serves the greater good.

Don't worry too much, every season there's a whole batch of new, crappy, ill-advised shows on the fall schedule to replace the crappy shows from the previous season. They'll find work.

My dream and I hope you don't find this too crazy is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."

    Thumbs down And...........

Never saw a single minute of it. MOST, not All, TV is such a huge waste of time that I simply don't watch it. News, Weather, Hunting and Fishing, and Motorsports is about it for me. I never lack for entertainment though, as anyone that has ridden with me for a few hours can attest.......

It sucked. But it sucked so bad I had to watch it just for a good laugh.
