certs from pa to fl question?

Hey Everybody,
I was woundering if i take 160hours(FF1) In pa, when i move back to fl am i able to somehow transfer my cert and get my fire 1 cert to fl so i can take fire 2 in fl and become a career firefighter. the courses are pro board. will i be able to challange the test and practical? or something.

Transferring your certs to Florida is difficult, I would contact http://www.fldfs.com/SFM/bfst/index.shtml. Just to let you know that firefighter jobs are hard to come by right now, not to discourage you, but there is a lot of competition.
