Default Final Interview for Norfolk, VA Fire Rescue

Well, my time has come for the final interview for Norfolk Fire. I passed the written exam, physical agility test and B-PAD two years ago. I was put on a waiting list. I believe I was number 147 or something like that. I received a call about 2 months ago from Capt. Logan asking if I was still interested in fire fighting. I told him you betcha! I took my polygraph exam and passed it and my credit and background check was fine as well. Capt. Logan showed up to my house about a couple of weeks ago unannounced, unfortunately I was in my pajamas and it was 1 in the afternoon. however, it was a gloomy day and it was my day off from work and I wanted to relax before I went to school. He asked me some interview questions like; how long have you wanted to be a firefighter? and describe yourself? At the end he told me I would be receiving a final interview. He called me about two weeks later and told me it was scheduled for November 19. That is tomorrow. I can say that I am both excited and nervous at the same time. Does anybody have any advice? if so, please do not hesitate to reply. I could certainly use all the help possible. BTW, I was told that the academy would be starting January 11th next year and that I would receive a call a few days after the interview letting me know whether or not I needed to put in my two weeks for my job.

Yeah, don't show up in pajamas.

Anticipate a "why do you want to be a FF?"
"What have you done to prepare yourself?"
    a diversity question
and be mindful of "ahs and umms"

Yea, the whole no pajamas is a good thing. Believe it or not, I've heard of people trying that and it didn't work. I wonder why? LMAO.

    Be yourself.

    Be professional.

Anticipate the questions you were already asked and more....
