Not sure if I have the id right, but his experience with these issues is important and feel a little lost without him. Does anyone know if he's taking a break from the forums? Well get him back.

I R here. Busy busy. And working with several local FD on DOD surplus chassis and gensets.
Hot tip for anyone looking for a large brush truck/light offroad tanker. DOD is now surplusing off all the M35A3 6x6. These are the "duece and a half" that were 100% rebuilt in 1998/99.
Changes included:
New CAT 3116 w/ Allison auto, super single tires with CTIS, airshift front diff, power steering, 3point belts. A new truck after rebuild. Good for 1000gal (rated 10000lb load). World of difference than the standard of duece. Most went to the National Guard and have less than 5000mi.
