Just curious here, but how do you guys get lower numbers than I did, if mine went in earlier in the same day? Is their numbering different for hiring vs r and r? Mine was for new hires.

I'm to assume that the application numbers changed this year to something to reflect a Hiring vs. Recruitment application?

I submitted one for hiring with an "FH" number. Previously, it was "FF" for SAFER applications. What is a recruitment number?

Oh...and "FH" is over 700 right now.

I am looking for a few narratives to review so i can get ideas on how to write a grant for R&R. I have one so far. Can anyone help me with a few more. Where i can try to accomplish this. email is bvrforkfire@tcworks.net

In previous SAFER programs, you could apply for R+R, Hiring, or both activities within one application. This year you can still apply for both but have to fill out 2 applications; so the R+R apps have the FF prefix and the Hiring apps have the FH prefix, and they each have their own numberical sequence. Even if you applied for both activities, you're not likely to have the same FF and FH numbers.
