One could only wish! Some friends of mine in So.Portland(Me.)have some of that fancy iron. The type I own & operate,O'hare probably retired twenty years ago. Still in my hands it gets the job done. And there's no payment book, a valuable feature in today's economy.I enjoy the show but those guys "milk" the job on camera. I know some of the family and they are damn GOOD operators. T.C.

Sounds like you might know about cable(wire rope) machines then. More similarites between the two trades than most might think. Particularly with today's Rotators(as pictured above). Handy things to know in either event.skills that you can call on quite often. T.C.

In the link from the original post, down on the bottom right of the wrecked website, I noticed a picture of an overturned ARFF vehicle in one of the pictures. Anyone have any idea what airport that was at?

If anyone does not know, Marci Gratzianna has a facebook page, and friends members of the fire service. And she actually looks at your pages, too, because she occasionally comments on photos I post. Once in a blue moon if you catch her online, she will even chat with you. Very friendly and down to earth.
