Thumbs up 118 Yrs Combined Service

I know both of these gentlemen personally and they are both great men. Although they no longer run calls, they are both very active and still contribute to their departments. My hat's off to both of them.

    Thumbs up Yep.............

Absolutely!...... Certainly a Class Act. I've never met Mr. Lankford, but I do know Vernon. Great Family and a good VFD there. And there are others in Southern Maryland as well. I kinda have a Hunch that almost every Station down there has at least one member that has 50 years or more, AND is still active...........

At approximately 0820 hours on the morning of my first tour of duty as a Deputy Chief, Harve called me and gave me a few words of advice gleaned from his experiences in PG and Glendale....

I thought Harve was their training officer when those guys were probies??

These guys sound like a real class act. I would love to sit down and have coffee with them and just listen to them talk about stuff.
