    Default Building Classification

    What type of building is a prefabricated steel building? I was thinking type II, but I figured I would ask.

    If the steel is unprotected by any other means, ie- concrete or another non-combustible material, yes it is Type II construction.

    Just a standard prefab that is unprotected. They are all over my area, and I have been classifing them as type II. Thanks for the help
