EMT's get 5% per shift if they are on the Rescue, paramedic pay is $7500 extra after passing protocol testing and a 2% raise next Oct per CBA. Also strong possibility of merging with the County in the next year or so.

Rescues are staffed with 2 medics most of the time but sometimes 1 medic/1 EMT and 3 man ALS suppression units. 5 stations: 5 Rescues, 4 ALS engines, 1 ALS quint, 1 platform, 1 EMS supervisor, 1 DC and 2 brush trucks.

Most agencies use their own PAT, only a few in the state use the standard CPAT.
Once you apply, and move on through the hiring process they will test you using their PAT.

Did you let your EMT lapse, and if so WHY ON EARTH DID YOU DO THAT?!
