ARLINGTON, TX — Firefighters rescued two maintenance workers from the roof of Cowboys Stadium on Thursday morning after they slipped on the icy surface and slid until they were caught by a gutter.

The men, working for the roofing subcontractor Birdair, were not wearing safety gear when they stepped out of a hatch onto the roof just after 7 a.m., Assistant Fire Chief Don Crowson said.

The workers, whose names were not released, slid about 250 feet, the Cowboys said in a statement.

Wow. If that were me up there the FD could have just followed the trail of my brown skid mark for that whole 250 ft.
