Indianapolis, IN Area Volunteer Depts or Part-Time Positions?

Does anyone know of any departments in the Indianapolis or surrounding area that utilize volunteer firefighters (combination, fully volunteer, etc)? I have accepted a new job in the northeastern part of Indianapolis (Carmel/Fishers area) and will be moving up that way in a few months. I would like to continue working in the fire service in some way shape or form after I relocate, so I'm trying to figure out a way to do so.

I've done some searching online and I've been able to find one department -- Castleton VFD (http://www.castletonvfd.org) that seems to be a possibility to volunteer at. Other than that, I really haven't been able to find very much.

I also figure that my other option would be to try for a part-time position at a department in the Indianapolis/surrounding area (I'm FF I/II, Haz-Mat Tech, and EMT-B certified).

Therefore, I'd like to know:
1) Of any departments in the Indianapolis/surrounding areas that utilize volunteer firefighters
2) Of any potential departments in the Indianapolis/surrounding area that hire part-time firefighters

Let's see if I can get a few of the Volunteers I can think of...
- Center Township (Muncie)
- Cicero
- Sheridan
- Wayne Township
- Charolettesville (east side)

Just wanted to reply to my original post with some info:

Whitestown FD is not currently accepting applications for volunteers
Zionsville FD does use volunteers, but their volunteer application process has recently closed.

Yep. I recently joined Perry Township Fire Rescue in Fayette, IN (Boone County) as a volunteer.

As far as I can tell from my searches over the past few months/year, they're the only ones close to Northwest Indianapolis that use volunteers. Most of the other departments (Zionsville, Whitestown, Lebanon, Center, etc) are only looking for part-time/paid reserve and not volunteer. However, keep in mind that my search was pretty much focused around the southeastern Boone County area, as that's where I live.

There are other Boone County departments that use volunteers, such as Advance, Jamestown (http://jamestownfire.org), and Thorntown (http://www.bccn.boone.in.us/tfd/).

Yeah that area is few and far in selection! I have my app in at ZFD as a part time and was going to get WFD's here soon! I am in hamilton county as a volly! they have a few good ones to choose from
