I am a junior firefighter and I was just curious about running yellows. I was wondering what the law is and what you guys (or ladys) think about running a yellow and clear dash light in my truck.
Thanks,
Daniel

Daniel,
Yellow is generally used and reserved for utility and road maintenance trucks.
The first thing I would do is to ask the Chief of the department you are being a Junior for.
Also do a little research on the Motor Vehicle Laws in the state which you live. He don't say where you live.
Most states regulate what CAN BE USED AND WHAT CAN NOT BE USED.
I do not know of any state that would allow you to run Yellow light and or a Clear [White] on you dash.Stay Safe and Well Out There....
Always remembering 9-11-2001 and 343+ Brothers

It is a federal law- Juniors may not run lights of ANY kind. Period.
