    Hey,

I am new to firefighting and really it was a calling, I can't explain it..
Right now I am going thru the interviewing process, captain called me telling me that my backgrond check came back great. Now he is sending me physical paperwork then training starts. I am really excited!!!!!!

Nice to meet you all and stay safe!

I spent some time in Conklin NY at your station 2 during floods there in 2006. Chief is a great guy, you'll have fun!

    COngratulations

This is Milan and I'm new to this world of firefighting myself, so when I saw what you wrote I just thought to hit you up. I understand what you mean with it being a "calling" I would say it is the same for myself. I am just beginning the process of being a ride-a long with station 2 here in Compton California. I've seen all kinds of interesting things so far, boy o boy, nothing yet though they say. But i will be taking up this EMT program in february hope to hear from you soon, Keep pushing!

My house was one that got destroyed, that was crazy. We still havent recovered yet and this whole town looks like a ghost town. What were you doing when you were here?

Good for you! For some reason this process is extreamly slow, I am STILL waiting for my physical paperwork to come in the mail. I just want to start learning!
