Default About to take WI firefighter II practical... any advice/tips?

Pretty much exactly what it says. I've got my FFII practical exam on saturday, and was wondering if anyone had any tips? The only thing I'm a tad worried about is the radio portion, as we don't run the call volume to be using the radios a lot. Tips on giving a PAR, sizeupo etc. Any other tips you have would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance.

Biggest tip I can tell you is don't get flustered and nervous. Review your material and you will do just fine. Confidence man.....have confidence.

My best advice? SLEEP THE NIGHT BEFORE VAMPIRE BOY!!

Talk to me and we will work on the radio report thing. It ain't a big deal. But it is one of my major gripes about letting guys with limited experience take the FF2 test. You shouldn't be talking on the radio much at all, let alone assuming command, at your level of experience.

Anyways let's get together and we can talk about it. Helps having a Dad who is an instructor.

Yes... poke the bear! You must learn to be humbled my child.

The more you worry about the exam, the less sleep you will get, and you will screw it up.

So my advice is: Don't worry... be happy!

    And poke the bear.
